COURSE CONDITIONS
Each level of the semester course OR summer course, successfully completed, corresponds to 6 ECTS. The mini-intensive course (30h) and the individual classes do not confer ECTS (credits). Attendance begins to count on the day the course begins, and not when the student begins attending the course. The student’s attendance at 80% of classes is mandatory in order to get certification. The number of justified absences can not exceed the number of classes attended. Payment is non-refundable under any circumstances. The payment of the course fee guarantees enrollment but does not guarantee a place at the preferred schedule. A copy of the certificate will have an additional cost of 10€. Assessment is done through direct observation in classes, homework and a final exam. The justification of absences is only valid upon presentation of an official document. No exceptional assessment period will be offered to the students. Classes are taught in Portuguese. The support of teaching A1 level classes is given in English (the use of the English language is only for specific situations). Until the first day of classes, external students have to pay 2.50€, in reference to the mandatory school insurance.
