GENERAL PRESENTATION
The 4th edition of the Online Summer Course in Portuguese Language and Culture organised by Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P. and by a consortium of six Portuguese universities (Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade de Coimbra, Universidade de Lisboa, Universidade do Minho, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa e Universidade do Porto) will take place from 26 June to 21 July 2023.
This course offers the six levels of the CEFR (A1 to C2). Each of the participating universities is responsible for one of the levels offered. In this edition, NOVA FCSH is responsible for teaching the A2 level course.

Tuition fee: ranges from € 300 to € 325. Students can apply for a scholarship from Camões, I.P., which covers the tuition fee.
DESCRIPTION OF THE A2 LEVEL ONLINE COURSE OFFERED BY NOVA FCSH IN THE PORTUGUESE UNIVERSITIES/CAMÕES CONSORTIUM:
Level: A2
Number of hours: 60h (30h of asynchronous learning + 30h of synchronous classes) + cultural modules
Synchronous classes: Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm (Lisbon time).
ECTS: 2
How the course works: Everyday students participate in two types of learning activities: synchronous (1h30 per day) and asynchronous. During synchronous sessions, students join their tutor and classmates via videoconferencing. During asynchronous sessions, students work independently or in groups. Contents and materials were designed for online teaching and learning.
Tuition fee: 325 euros. (In the application form, you can apply for a scholarship from Instituto Camões, which covers the tuition fee).
